Sitting here waiting for my bubble tea..just taking a quick break from packing.
I spent a while this morning chopping pineapple to be dehydrated. Hope it turns out. Processed 4 pineapples. If it works out I'll dip them in chocolate!

Good news! My computer at home is fixed and I've also found a place to live. It's in the Calgary ghetto but there's nothing at all wrong with the place.

Well, the cover for my IPad is on it's way...apparently followed by the SIM card and then the IPad itself. Wouldn't they save on courier charges if they sent everything at once?

I did a bad thing. I bought an IPad 2. I shouldn't have. So expensive but so pretty. SOOOOO PRETTY. It will take 4 weeks as there's a shortage.

I've got most of my Christmas baking shopping done. Managed to get it within the $75 gift card I got from a forum group, which is not bad. I suspect that I'll need to get more nuts as I have a lot of people to give small gifts to.
Having said that I am thinking of only giving the mixed nuts to family. It was $15 to get not a big enough bag of ( Read more... ) -

Volunteerimg at WordFest right now. A bit slow ar the moment. It's ok as I am a bit tired.
I've been volunteering for the last three nights after work ans it's pretty tiring. Good though.
I've also neen coordinating the United Way campaign at work for my building. That's been a lot of work in itself. Thank God for volunteers :). I couldn't do it ( Read more... )
